We are very busy these days! Yesterday we had another Math test, and the kids did GREAT again! I'm so proud of them! We are in the process of making triangle flash cards which the kids can practice at home. These are addition and subtraction facts all in one. It's good for the kids to know the fact families. They should be finished with them this week. Please take time to practice with them or have an older sibling help.
We are starting our first theme skills tests today in Reading. I believe they will do well on these tests,too. We've been working on the short vowel sounds and the long vowel sounds with consonant/vowel/consonant/ final e. They are good at predicting and know the difference between fantasy and realism.
We are working on our rosary booklets. October is the month of the Rosary. I've been reading about the mysteries of the rosary including the newest mysteries, the Luminous Mysteries. I feel it is important that our children learn about the rosary and why we pray it.
