Welcome to a new school year! I am excited to be meeting you and your children. This is going to be a very special year when the second graders make their First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion!
Another exciting part of this preparation is getting to meet our newest additions to our school family. Mrs. Bernier's baby daughter is SO precious! She will be having a new sub for the time she is on maternity leave. Our principal, Mr. Bell, is a wonderful addition. He is really looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing the school filled with children. He's very much a "people person". Mrs. Levings is our new fourth grade teacher. She is from the area and is excited to be back "home" with her husband. We also have Mrs. Worrall who will be teaching Computer and Library classes. These girls are such friendly, eager teachers! Mr. Bell and these two new teachers fit in so well with our staff. We are blessed to have them with us!
I am getting close to being ready - just a few more odds and ends to take care of tomorrow. I hope everyone has had a good summer. It certainly went FAST! Soon God will bless us with cooler weather and the changing colors of fall. Fall is my favorite time of year.
You will be receiving information from me on Tuesday. Please read it as it will help you know what's happening in second grade. I KNOW you will get LOTS of things from the office, too. Be sure and read those things also.
IMPORTANT- mark your calendars! Monday, September 8th at 6:30 is our 2nd grade Parent Night. I look forward to meeting all of you.
